PITHRUPOOJA - IN TEMPLES

பித்ரு பூஜை என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிற முன்னோர் வழிபாடு  சென்னை கோயம்பேடு பகுதியில் உள்ள குருங்காலீஸ்வரர் மற்றும் பெருமாள் கோவில்களில் 2000 ஆண்டில் நான் சென்னை சென்று இருந்தபோது நடந்து கொண்டிருந்தது.  அறிவிப்பு பலகையில் அறிவிப்பு கூட நான் பார்த்தேன்.  ஆனால் பின்னர் அந்த பூஜை சில நிர்வாக காரணங்களுக்காக நிறுத்தப்பட்டு விட்டது என்று தெரிந்து கொண்டேன்.  அந்த பூஜை வேறு தெய்வத் தளங்களில் செய்யப்படுகிறதா என்று தேடிக் கொண்டிருந்த போது கேரளா மாநிலத்தில் ஒரு கோவிலில் உள்ளது குறித்து ஆங்கிலத்தில் ஒரு கட்டுரையைப் பார்த்தேன். தளத்தின் பெயர் http://hindulegacy.blogspot.com/2010/10/thirunelli-pithru-temple.
திருநெல்லி என்ற ஊரில் பித்ரு பூஜை சிறப்பாக நடப்பதாக அறிந்தேன்.

ராமச்சந்தர் என்பவர் ஒரு அருமையான பதிவினை கொடுத்து இருந்தார். வயநாடு மாவட்டத்தில் மனந்தவாடி என்ற நகரில் இருந்து 32 KM தொலைவில்   இந்த கோவில் இருப்பதாகத் தகவல் கொடுத்து உள்ளார்.  இது கோழிக்கோடு புகைவண்டி நிலையத்தில் இருந்து 72 KM  தொலைவில் உள்ள தலம். பிரம்மகிரி என்னும் பள்ளத்தாக்குப் பகுதியில் இந்த கோவில் உள்ளது.  நடைபயணத்தில் இருந்த பக்தர்கள் பசியாற இறைவனை வேண்டியபோது ஒரு நெல்லி மரம் தோன்றியதாகவும் அதன் பலன்களைப் புசித்து அவர்கள் பசியாரினார்கள் என்றும் திருத்தல வரலாறு உரைக்கிறது.  கோவிலுக்கு சிறுது தொலைவில் பாப நாசினி என்னும் ஆறு உள்ளது.  முன்னோர்களுக்கு இங்கு வழிபாடு நடத்தினால் மிகச் சிறப்பு என்றும் அமாவாசைகளில் இங்கு பலர் வந்து வழிபாடு நிகழ்த்துவதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.  கயையில் செய்யப்படும் முன்னோர் வழிபாட்டுக்குச் சமமானது என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்.  வழியில் ஒரு குகையில் சிவன் கோவில் ஒன்று இருப்பதாகவும் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளது.  முடிந்தால் போய் வாருங்கள். 

 

கடந்த வாரம் மகாளய அமாவாசையின் போது ஒரு பதிவினை கீழ்க்கண்ட வலைத் தளத்தில் படித்தேன்.

அதில் முன்னோர் வழிபாட்டினைப் பற்றி கேட்டு அறிந்து பிறருக்குச் சொல்வதே ஒரு நல்ல விடயம் என்று கூறப்பட்டு இருந்தது. "In fact , circulating , sharing information on Oblations is also one of service or Tarpan to our Pitars, forefathers !"  மகாளய பட்சத்தின் போது ஒவ்வொரு நாளும் முன்னோருக்காக செய்யப்படும் வழிபத்தின் பலனும் கொடுக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது. முதல் நாள் பொருள், இரண்டாம் நாள் செல்வம், மூன்றாம் நாள் பெருமை, நான்காம் நாள் வியாபார விருத்தி,  நான்காம் நாள் எதிரிகளை வெல்லல், ஐந்தாம் நாள் அனைத்து பேறுகளும், ஆறாம் நாள் புகழ், ஏழாம் நாள் இறைப் பலம், இப்படி வரிசைப்படுத்தப்பட்டு உள்ளது.  அதை அப்படியே உங்களுக்குத் தருகிறேன்.

14th Moon Mahalaya New Moon – Those who are not able to do Tarpan on all the above phases of the Moon, should definitely offer tarpan on this day in order to accrue the above said benefits and also will receive benefits by doing Tarpan for those who died due to weapons or accidents. During this day the known and unknown souls that have departed during the last 30 years are treated equal to God
We should constantly take care of them in order to have a peaceful life. Once a year there is a great celebration in the Pitra loka for 2 weeks. It is called Mahalaya fortnight. It starts on September 27th (this year), right after the full moon and ends on the Mahalaya new moon day, October 10th. This two-week period is the most important period to appreciate your departed ancestors.

எனவே முன்னோர்வழிபாட்டினை மறவாது செய்யுங்கள்.  இறை வழிபாட்டினைப் போன்றதே இந்த வழிபாடும்.
